Annual inter-Livery Regatta, Cowes

The W/E commenced with the usual informal get-together of crews for a buffet supper.

We awoke to fog horns, heavy fog and no wind on the morning of the race(s). But the Race Officer with his usual magic weather wand was able to start the race at 12.40. Such a late start meant that the planned two races had to reduced to one. Decent amount of wind guaranteed all entries a pleasant sail.

The Presentation Dinner in the Pavilion of the RYS was a great success although a bit nippy ! Race Officer, Mike Peskett, announced the results and we were honoured to have our Admiral Emeritus Sir Clive Martin present the cups and trophies.

We're not around right now. But you can send us an email and we'll get back to you, asap.
